About DFLOODDRUMS - Debbie Flood - Drummer / Percussionist / Beat Producer:
DFLOODDRUMS is the official website for drummer, Debbie Flood. Debbie has been performing since age 13. She is an accomplished musician who has toured Nationally and locally for 3 decades. Debbie grew up in New Jersey at a a young age was exposed to many musical genres ranging from marching band to orchestra/pit orchestra to jazz band to rock bands. She can both read music and play by ear.
Early in her playing she would spend hours and hours practicing by listening to records and playing along to such artists as Pat Benatar, Blondie, Led Zeppelin, and countless others. She also was the lead snare drummer in high school and continued to play while attending college.
Following college she auditioned for the band disappear fear who she toured nationally for a year. She played such venues as 9:30 Club, Bluebird Cafe, the Bitter End, the Birchmere, South by Southwest Music Festival, the High Sierra Mountain Music Festival, Mountain Stage, Eddie's Attic, Mad Life Studio to name a few.
She toured with Roni Lee who has a Gold album for her work with Joan Jett and the Runaways. With Roni she has performed at many incredible venues including the infamous Whisky-A-Gogo. The highlight of the tours with Roni was working with the GRRRRLLLSS ROCK organization located in Portland,Oregon hoping to inspire a new generation of female musicians.
In August 2020, she became the primary drummer for Karen Waldrup, a Billboard charting Country artist with over 450 million you tube views and 1 million fans.
Debbie has been a longtime advocate for woman and girl musicians. She has also supports Richmond Girls Rock by giving her time and donating equipment.
In January 2019, Debbie moved to Nashville, TN to continue pursuing a career in music. During that time she has also worked with some incredible country artists including Karen Waldrup, Liz Moriondo, Lucy Angel, Tim Lynch Band.
She has had videos featured on Drum Talk TV and is a member of BMI.
Debbie is a drummer for hire and as a result has played in numerous bands and can be found on several recordings.
